About me

My name is Thelma Nusselder and I have been working in mental health care since 2009. In recent years, I have worked with various forms of therapy and in different settings, like an addiction care clinic. Currently, I am working- in combination with my own practice- at an international clinic for mental health, where the primary language is English. My treatments are mainly focused on:
- the processing of traumatic events;
- the reduction of depressive and anxiety symptoms;
- understanding your sensitivity and
- learning to deal with different types of emotions

It is essential for me that we have a good connection and that you clearly understand what you can expect from me as your psychologist. I am committed to you. Clients describe me as friendly, approachable, empathetic, calm, and engaged. What therapy does offer? Clarity. You will learn to understand yourself and your symptoms better and behave differently. These insights can reduce your symptoms.
I expect that you come to therapy with an active attitude. It is important to know that therapy does not provide ready-made solutions to problems.
