Personality problems
If you experience personality problems, you have long-standing and deeply rooted patterns of behavior, emotions, and relationships that lead to significant problems in daily life and interpersonal relationships. Examples include:
- Repeated conflicts with friends and partners
- Difficulty trusting others
- Struggling to connect well and having a deep fear of abandonment
- Intense emotional reactions to events
- Uncertainty about your self-image or doubts about your abilities
- Persistent feelings of anxiety and depression
- Difficulties setting healthy boundaries
- The inability to nuance beliefs about yourself and the world and being unable to understand others in this regard
If these patterns are inflexible and persistent, it may be that you comply with a diagnosis such as avoidant or dependent personality disorder.
